Susan Mead, Master Herbalist/Essentrics InstructorSusan has been in private practice as a certified Master Herbalist since 1996, after spending the first 20 years of her career in business—most recently as Director of Marketing for an internet start-up company in the mid-1990’s. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and has been a Certified Yoga Instructor since 2000. But her biggest passion is Essentrics which she has been teaching since 2013 after it helped Susan heal from double frozen shoulders, as well as a torn meniscus (back of the knee).
Susan’s first book, Take Back Your Body, was released in January, 2009, with a glowing endorsement by Christiane Northrup, M.D. In addition, Take Back Your Body won two First Place EVVY Awards, and has been featured in many publications, including the Rocky Mountain News.
Blending these skills and experiences, Susan is dedicated to helping others move and heal. Still writing and speaking on occasion, Susan spends most of her time teaching Essentrics classes and workshops around the world. She lives in Colorado with her husband where she teaches Essentrics classes, is a volunteer with the Steamboat Springs Ski Patrol and now mentoring other Essentrics instructors.
